We're expanding our successful Fleet Operations team and seeking a Senior Regional Fleet Manager to drive innovation and excellence across our Amazon Logistics (AMZL) network in Australia. In this strategic role, you'll partner with our established AU Fleet team to accelerate our technological capabilities, aligning with global best practices while tailoring solutions for the unique Australian market.
As a Senior Regional Fleet Manager, you'll spearhead the implementation of fleet technology programs, ensuring seamless integration with our Australian operations while driving operational excellence within stations. Your expertise will be crucial in identifying opportunities and implementing solutions that enhance fleet performance across our network. Working closely with our high-performing teams, you'll partner with internal stakeholders (AMZL Ops, DSP team) and external partners to ensure successful program execution. Your strategic insight will be valuable in shaping AU-specific requirements for global fleet initiatives.
The role calls for a proven Fleet Management professional, ideally with Amazon Logistics experience, who brings a strong track record of implementing complex programs across diverse stakeholder groups. Key job responsibilities
A day in the life
Varied, however it will scale from working with DSPs to in-fleet vehicles and deal with operational challenge, and within the same week, working with local and global teams to build new products to support long-term requirements.
The candidate will be required to use data from various sources to build plans, identify gaps and work with stakeholders to close the gaps.
Will need to think about continuous improvement activities constantly.

Key job responsibilities
- Program manage the execution and adoption of fleet programs and workstreams within AMZL operational sites, driving and influencing teams in and outside of your organisation to support delivery.
- Work with Last Mile Tech, Global Fleet and Products Analytics (GFPA) and DSP Analytics teams to achieve tech parity and standardise reporting for Australia.
- Work autonomously, seeking to understand business problems, automation limitations, scaling factors, boundary conditions, and reasons behind leadership decisions.
- Engage other Amazon business units globally on standard work and best practices to improve end-to-end outcomes for Amazon customers.
- Proactively identify and mitigate risks (before they become roadblocks)
- Synchronize with third party companies to ensure Best in Class service is provided to the Amazon Fleet.
- Work proactively within an ambiguous environment across multiple complex workstreams.

Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of developing program strategies and plans, diving execution, and influencing senior stakeholders experience
- 5+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience
- 5+ years of delivering cross functional projects experience
- 5+ years working in a similar role within AMZL (EU, NA, or similar)
- Excellent data analysis skills.
- Experience in complex problem solving, and working within a tight schedule environment.
- Expert knowledge of Excel at an advanced level (e.g., pivot tables & charts, multiple criteria lookups, nested logical/IF formulas, data cleansing, array formulas, etc.).
- Experience leading process improvements
- Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
- Bachelor's degree, or MBA
- Experience owning tech roadmaps and understanding complex solutions.
