About the Role:
As the Financial Controller, you’ll be responsible for the delivery of general accounting services, ensuring timely month-end close, high-quality reporting, audit preparedness, and compliance with statutory requirements. This leadership role will also see you supporting a high-performing team, driving a culture of collaboration, and implementing process enhancements across the finance function.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries, GL integrity, reconciliations, and P&L review
- Deliver accurate financial reporting, including management reports, balance sheets, and analysis
- Oversee audit processes and ensure compliance with ASX and statutory reporting requirements
- Support the development of accounting policies and drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Mentor and manage a team of qualified accountants and finance professionals
- CA/CPA qualified with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- 5+ years’ experience in a senior financial accounting or financial controller role
- Demonstrated experience in ASX-listed environments (essential)
- Strong ERP system knowledge (Oracle or similar) and advanced Excel skills
- Proven leadership ability, stakeholder engagement, and commercial acumen
- Work for a prominent industry player in a dynamic and highly visible finance role
