About the Role

We are currently seeking a compassionate and experienced Deputy Director of Nursing (DDON) to support our Director of Nursing in leading the clinical team.

In this role, you will:

  • Work closely with the Director of Nursing to oversee the daily clinical operations of the home.
  • Lead the development and implementation of procedures to ensure residents’ clinical and care needs are consistently met.
  • Provide clinical supervision, mentorship, and support to Registered Nurses and care staff.
  • Foster strong communication and build trusting relationships with residents, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Support a culture of continuous improvement and maintain a safe, high-quality care environment.


What you'll bring

  • Tertiary qualification (Bachelor or higher) in Nursing with current AHPRA registration.
  • Minimum five years of nursing experience in the aged care sector, including at least two years in a management or leadership role.
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain).
  • Current influenza vaccination.
  • Full working rights in Australia.
  • Strong leadership, team management, and clinical supervision skills.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Commitment to person-centred, relationship-based care that upholds the dignity and respect of all residents.
