Data Analyst and Power Platform Developer

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Data Analyst & Power Platform Developer to integrate data from diverse business systems, including GreenTree ERP, Maximo, SaaS safety systems, and IVMS telematics solutions. The successful candidate will design and implement structured data solutions in SQL databases or Data Lake environments, build engaging and insightful Power BI dashboards, and develop intuitive frontend smart forms with automated workflows.

This role will be offered on either a contractor basis or as a casual employment opportunity.

Based in our Brisbane CBD Office, you will join a diverse and supportive team committed to growth.

Key responsibilities of the role include (but are not limited to):

• Data Mapping & Integration:
• Map and document data requirements from various systems including GreenTree ERP, Maximo ERP, IVMS, and Safety SaaS applications.
• Set up structured data storage solutions in local SQL instances or Azure Data Lakes.
• Design and implement robust ETL processes to ensure reliable and automated data integration.
• Dashboard & Reporting:
• Develop interactive Power BI dashboards and visualizations to provide actionable insights for stakeholders.
• Create optimized data models and implement complex DAX measures and calculated columns.
• Establish scheduled reports and data refresh routines.
• Front-end Development & Workflow Automation:
• Design and deploy user-friendly smart forms using Microsoft Power Apps.
• Build automated workflows using Power Automate to streamline business processes.
• Integrate frontend applications with backend data repositories for real-time data processing and updates.
  

Qualifications & Experience Required

• Strong proficiency in SQL (SQL Server preferred) and relational database design.
• Expertise in Power BI for data visualization and dashboard development.
• Proven experience with ETL processes, ideally using Azure Data Factory, SSIS, or equivalent.
• Solid experience in designing and implementing frontend forms using Power Apps.
• Familiarity with workflow automation through Power Automate.
• Exposure to APIs and integrations with third-party SaaS applications.
• Understanding of data warehouse architecture (SQL Server or Azure Data Lake Gen2).
• Ability to document and communicate complex data requirements clearly and efficiently.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Data Science, IT, Business Analytics, or a related field.
• Microsoft certifications in Power BI, Power Platform, or Azure Data Engineering
