Job Description

This is a 6-month contract role, responsible for partnering with our retail leaders across the country to deliver an exceptional recruitment experience and to manage the end-to-end recruitment of store leadership roles, including store managers, sales managers, operations managers and team leaders in metro and regional areas.

  • Lead, champion, optimise and actively participate in the recruitment process, ensuring:
    • Effective pipelining, sourcing, screening, shortlisting, interviewing, offering, and onboarding of top talent.
    • Assessment tools and pre-employment checks are used effectively to drive high quality recruitment outcomes.
    • Effective relationships are built with hiring managers, candidates, and other relevant business stakeholders, in support of delivering an exceptional recruitment experience.
    • Talent is acquired in line with the relevant recruitment brief, budget, headcount, and appropriate delegated authorities.
  • Support the continuous improvement of recruitment systems and processes.
  • Actively contribute to recruitment value-add initiatives such as analytics, reporting, recruitment campaign projects, careers fairs, employer branding and more.
  • Support the delivery of regular reporting on recruitment activity, performance indicators and outcomes.
  • Work in close collaboration with the wider HR team, ensuring prompt communication of issues and outcomes.
  • Provide ad-hoc support to the wider HR team as required.
Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience in recruitment or human resources and an ability to manage a high volume of job vacancies concurrently
  • Experience in retail or a fast-paced high-volume environment is highly regarded.
  • Ability to build relationships and influence a wide range of stakeholders whilst managing multiple work flows concurrently.
  • Excellent skills and confidence in communication, both written and verbal.
  • Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems and the Microsoft Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Sharepoint) is desirable.
