Paralympics Australia exists to lead Paralympic sport and create a more inclusive world. As the peak body for Paralympic sport in Australia we have 23 member organisations and are responsible for selecting and managing the Australian Paralympic Teams to Summer and Winter Games.

The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Partnerships Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining partnerships with various organisations and stakeholders. The Partnerships Coordinator will work closely with the management team to identify potential partners, negotiate agreements, and manage ongoing relationships. This role requires excellent communication and organisational skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the coordination and delivery of contractual rights and benefits for commercial and funding partners.
  • Attend and manage logistics for partner meetings including scheduling, minute-taking, and follow-up.
  • Coordinate athlete appearances and speaker requests, ensuring a seamless experience for both partners and athletes.
  • Maintain accurate partnership records, documentation, and internal platforms (e.g. HIVO, Greenenvelope, Salesforce).
  • Assist with the planning and execution of partner campaigns, activations and events
  • Coordinate communication with partners including content scheduling, social media visibility, and video asset management.
  • Support the reporting process by collecting data and insights for end-of-year reviews and impact reporting.
  • Provide general administrative support including templates, presentations, and sponsor signage updates.

Qualifications & Skills

  • 3–5 years of experience in partnerships, sponsorship, events or marketing.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
  • Experience coordinating events, activations, or athlete appearances is highly regarded.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with attention to detail and high-quality output.
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365, Salesforce, and digital asset management platforms (or ability to quickly learn).
  • Resilient, adaptable, and solutions-focused, with a collaborative team mindset.
  • Tertiary qualifications in sports management, marketing, communications or equivalent experience.
  • Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain) and a commitment to the values of the Paralympic Movement.
