Let's talk about this role
The Talent Acquisition and Onboarding Specialist will play a key role in achieving nib's business strategy by supporting the recruitment of frontline roles, assessment centres and the onboarding processes.
Closely working with the Talent, Diversity & Inclusion and Team, you will support the transition of new employees through pre-employment, appointment and nib Academy induction (an onboarding program that you will facilitate) that happens on day 1 into nib before commencing in their assigned teams.
This role will equip new employees with knowledge in the end-to-end employee lifecycle, nib policies and procedures and navigation of employee self-service processes when commencing in their role with nib.
What you'll be involved in:
- Coordinate attraction, recruitment, and selection processes aligned with the Talent Acquisition Strategy
- Design and implement assessment centres tailored to frontline roles
- Support candidates and leaders throughout the onboarding process, ensuring a smooth transition for new hires
- Facilitation and face to face delivery of induction and/or onboarding for new employees
- Provide exceptional candidate care management, creating an inspired experience for prospective employees and future talent that aligns with nib's diversity and inclusion principle
Let's talk about you
The successful candidate will have 3+ years of proven recruitment experience (agency or internal recruitment), specialising in sourcing top talent for various customer service roles. A background running assessment centres is highly desired.
You will be confident to facilitate onboarding days, engaging new hires, delivering key information clearly, and creating a welcoming, supportive first experience.
Your passion for diversity and inclusion enables you to create an inclusive and fair experience for all candidates, while your experience working closely with hiring managers and onboarding specialists ensures a seamless and positive candidate journey-key to your success in this role.
What we'd love to see:
- Highly organised and detail-orientated
- A strong critical thinker with the ability to analyse complex situations, solve problems strategically, and make informed decisions under pressure
- Familiarity with using data analytics to drive recruitment and onboarding decisions
- Familiarity with various recruitment technologies and platforms, including social media and networking tools
- Strong understanding of employer branding and its impact on talent acquisition
