We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Knowledge Management Specialist to join our Doctor Pay and Invoicing team.

You will play a critical role in capturing, structuring, and sharing knowledge across the organisation to improve strategic decision-making, enhance workflow efficiency, and foster a strong learning culture within our DPI space.

This team is responsible for delivering high quality financial and administrative services for our doctors and clients, including a mix of financial administration, payroll recordkeeping and reporting, accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks.

Based in our fantastic office in Robina, with flexible work arrangements, the key responsibilities of this role includes:

  • Capture and Codify Knowledge: Interview subject matter experts, create comprehensive guides, manuals, and white papers to preserve critical institutional knowledge for the doctor pay function.
  • Organise and Structure Information: Design and maintain systems for storing, indexing, and retrieving knowledge to ensure accessibility and relevance.
  • Promote Knowledge Sharing: Drive collaboration between teams and departments through workshops, knowledge hubs, and internal communication strategies.
  • Support Decision-Making: Ensure stakeholders have access to up-to-date, accurate information to make informed operational and strategic choices.
  • Improve Workflow Efficiency: Streamline processes by making essential information available in real time, reducing redundancies and inefficiencies.

  Our Ideal Payroll Officer:

Education

  • Diploma of Payroll Services / Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred. 

Experience

  • Minimum of 2 years of payroll experience. 
  • Proven experience in knowledge management, information science, organisational development or a related field.
  • Familiarity with knowledge management platforms, tools, or frameworks.
  • Desirable to have experience of Australian medical recruitment industry.

Skills

  • Strong understanding of payroll principles and practices. 
  • Proficient in payroll software and MS Office Suite (especially Excel). 
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills. 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. 
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills. 
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information. 
  • Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to translate complex information into accessible formats.
  • A collaborative mindset with a passion for learning and innovation.
