We have a few mine site production roles based in beautiful Mudgee NSW (check the video Mudgee: Top Tourism Town Submission 2022 from Mudgee Region Tourism on YouTube, link below but if the ad removes the link, just search it).
Safety wise, the mine has demarcated roads, so LVs will be off haul roads. The low strip ratio also means no lng boring journeys up never ending declines.
For single / truck skill, the role pays $55p/h and is on the 5/4 lifestyle roster & you will need to live within an hour.
For multi-skilled roles, we can offer a 7/7 roster, at $75 per hour plus camp accommodation & meals provided. No flights available, sorry - this one is DIDO.
These roles would start on a casual basis for a contractor. The mine life is over a decade. a digger, dozer and truck operation, with R9350, R9400, Cat 6060, R9250 & EX1200 Excavators, CAT 789 & 793s, & Terex MT4400s trucks and D10 & D11 dozers. The mining operation uses bulk push dozers and hydraulic excavators to mine coal and overburden in a strip-mining configuration.
Living in Mudgee really allows you to have the most amazing time with friends and family, enjoying the region or getting away, with only a 3 hour drive to Sydney or the coast.
Mudgee airport flies to Sydney, Newcastle or Cobar, with the close by Dubbo Airport adding the destinations of Brisbane, Melbourne, Broken Hill, Walgett, Bourke & Lightning Ridge.
