We’re seeking a Senior Project Manager (Engineering) to oversee a major multi-disciplinary infrastructure upgrade on a prominent waterfront site. Based in Port Melbourne, this role will be responsible for all phases of project delivery – from planning and contract management through to execution and reporting.

We’re seeking a Senior Project Manager (Engineering) to oversee a major multi-disciplinary infrastructure upgrade on a prominent waterfront site. Based in Port Melbourne, this role will be responsible for all phases of project delivery – from planning and contract management through to execution and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage project planning, cost estimating, scheduling, and budget control Administer and oversee complex, multi-disciplinary contracts
- Lead risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies
- Align project outcomes with asset management plans and maintenance priorities
- Prepare and present reports and updates to senior executives and stakeholders
- Resolve industrial, contractual, and performance-related issues professionally
- Extensive project management expertise including planning, estimating, scheduling, cost control, and contract administration
- Experience in marine infrastructure, including timber structures, is advantageous
- Strong understanding of risk assessment and mitigation in project environments
- Solid understanding of asset maintenance principles and applying asset management plans
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including reporting and presenting to senior stakeholders
- Proficiency in anticipating, negotiating, and resolving industrial, contractual, and performance issues
- Tertiary qualifications in project management and/or civil or structural engineering (or equivalent experience) Eligible for membership with Engineers Australia Strong understanding of quality management principles
- In-depth knowledge of OH&S regulations and codes of practice
