Business Development Manager

About The Role

As a Business Development Manager at Green by Nature, you will lead the creation of business opportunities that generate new revenue through strategic business development initiatives. This is a role focused on:

• Identifying and securing new long-term contracts across market sectors
• Developing proposals and potential client engagement strategies
• Managing a robust pipeline of opportunities
• Becoming a recognised industry expert in targeted verticals
  
  

You’ll work closely with our Operational teams, Senior Leaders and Bid Services team to align growth strategy with capability—and ensure a consistent, high-quality client experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop deep expertise in key market sectors and establish strong client relationships
• Identify new business opportunities and manage an active sales pipeline in our HubSpot CRM system
• Attend industry events and meetings to build client rapport and position Green by Nature favorability
• Collaborate across the business to align service offerings with market needs
• Support excellence in bid development, tender timelines, and pricing accuracy
• Champion safety, sustainability, and ethical practices in all business activity
  
  

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Business, Sales, or a related discipline—or significant relevant experience
  
  

Required Skills

• Proven track record in business development, strategic sales, or contract acquisition in B2B services
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills
• Organised, self-motivated, and capable of managing competing priorities
• Experience of working cross-functionally in a dynamic environment
• Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office
• A passion for sustainability and making a real impact
