Health Information Sharing Change Manager

  • Full Time, fixed term position working 80 hours per fortnight.

The Royal Melbourne Hospital (RMH) is a leading public hospital in Victoria, providing expert care 24 hours, 7 days a week. It offers emergency, surgical, mental health, and specialist services. As a major teaching hospital, it supports medical research and trains future healthcare professionals.

The Royal Melbourne Hospital is the lead agency responsible for the change management activities required to support the implementation of the CareSync Exchange project across the Parkville Precinct health services (Royal Melbourne Hospital, Royal Women’s Hospital, Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre and Royal Children’s Hospital).

Your New Role

  • Participate in the implementation of the CareSync Exchange Project.
  • Play a pivotal role in supporting the Parkville Precinct’s success in the roll out of this state-wide project.
  • Develop and apply expertise in change management practices for multiple stakeholder groups.
  • Be well supported by a range of experts who will assist in implementing this exciting initiative.

About You

  • You form strong working relationships and enjoy engaging directly with clinical, administrative, technical and support staff in enabling change.
  • You display leadership qualities within complex health environments.
  • You are interested in applying your high level of attention to detail, problem solving and process-oriented thinking in an interesting and growing setting.
  • You are comfortable educating colleagues on a range of information management topics.
  • You have experience working in a health setting and are eligible for membership with the Health Information Management Association of Australia.
