About The Opportunity
We are seeking a dedicated BMD Technician to join our team across our North Brisbane clinics.
In this role, you’ll be responsible for performing high-quality Bone Mineral Density scans, supporting our commitment to patient-centered care. You’ll work with a diverse patient base and contribute to the delivery of accurate and timely imaging results.
Our clinics are supported by experienced clerical teams and clinical assistants, and equipped with modern technology and a supportive clinical environment to help you provide the highest standard of diagnostic services.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Performing accurate and efficient BMD/DEXA scans
- Ensuring patient care and comfort throughout the procedure
- Collaborating with referrers and clinical teams to ensure high-quality reporting
- Maintaining and calibrating equipment to ensure optimal performance
To Be Successful In This Role, You Will Bring
- Previous experience with DEXA scanning
- AHPRA registration
- Qld Radiation Use Licence or the ability to attain.
- Excellent communication and patient care skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
