The Opportunity
We are seeking an Engineering Manager to work in a dynamic team. You will be supporting the Battlespace Communication System (BCS) Program. BCS is a next generation networking product that is the centerpiece for multiple projects and campaigns. The BCS combines both developmental and off the shelf hardware and software to provide world leading communications capability for ADF personnel. It can be rapidly deployed from anywhere, and its modular design provides a flexible, scalable solution that can be customized for various mission needs.

This role will see you working closely with one of our core products for Army, upgrading the capability to integrate with related maritime communications projects, or modernization of the joint air battlespace management system.
We are looking for dynamic leaders who bring positivity, enthusiasm, accountability and openness to our team in support of the BCS program.
Execution experience is important, as well as a desire for leadership.
Responsibilities
- Leading and developing a high performing team within the BCS enterprise.
- Team management including recruitment, development and performance.
- Motivation to learn new things, and willingness to undertake a variety of tasks.
- Ability to drive project management capability outcomes for BCS customers.
- Planning and estimation of technical work scope and development of team project plans
- Execution of project plans in accordance within defined schedule and cost parameters.
- Effective stakeholder engagement within Boeing, suppliers and customers.

Essential:
- Desire to manage a team, prioritizing our people and culture to achieve program outcomes.
- Experience in complex engineering development programs.

Desirable:
- Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering, Software, Cyber security, or equivalent industry experience.
- Experience on the BCS projects.
