We are currently seeking a skilled and proactive Senior Systems Engineer for a part-time contract engagement. This role is ideal for a seasoned IT professional looking for a flexible arrangement while contributing to enterprise-level systems projects.

You will work closely with internal teams to support and enhance the client's modern device management infrastructure, focusing on SCCM, Microsoft Intune, and broader Managed Operating Environment (MOE) functions.


Key Responsibilities

  • SCCM Management & Maintenance:
  • Software packaging, deployment, and patch management
  • Imaging and OS deployment automation
  • Endpoint configuration and reporting
  • Microsoft Intune Administration:
  • Device provisioning and enrolment (Windows and mobile)
  • Policy development, compliance, and endpoint security
  • Application deployment via Intune
  • MOE Support:
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of standardised operating environments
  • Contribute to documentation, best practices, and automation of repeatable tasks
  • Troubleshoot and resolve escalated endpoint issues


About You

  • 5+ years’ experience as a Systems Engineer, Desktop Engineer, or similar role
  • Hands-on expertise in SCCM, Intune, and general Microsoft Endpoint Manager tools
  • Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems, device management, and Group Policy
  • Experience in MOE design, deployment, and lifecycle management
  • Scripting skills (PowerShell, etc.)
  • Excellent communication skills – able to liaise with technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively
