We proudly serve customers across the Asia-Pacific, Americas, and Europe, and our people are at the core of everything we achieve.

About The Role

We're on the lookout for a Coal Logistics Lead to join our collaborative Sales & Marketing team, based in our 6-star eco-certified Brisbane CBD office. In this vital role, you’ll help coordinate the daily execution of rail movements and shipping schedules, working closely with mine production, rail operators, ports, and the broader marketing team to ensure coal gets where it needs to go—on time, every time.

This is a dynamic opportunity that blends operations, commercial coordination, and logistics insight in a high-performing global environment.

What You’ll Do

  • Align short-term mine production, rail scheduling, and shipping to maximise efficiency and meet customer commitments.
  • Coordinate rail orders in line with commercial agreements and work with multiple rail providers to secure services in a competitive infrastructure market.
  • Monitor and report on planned vs actual rail and shipping performance, identifying risks and recommending actions.
  • Manage logistics interfaces with export and domestic customers, third-party suppliers, infrastructure providers, and port agents.
  • Ensure data accuracy for railings, weather impacts, and moisture management to support safe and compliant vessel loading.
  • Travel as needed to maintain strong working relationships and develop expertise across the full logistics chain.

About You

You’ll be someone who thrives on coordination and precision, with a sharp eye for detail and a team-first attitude. Ideally, you will bring:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Logistics, Supply Chain, Mining, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Solid understanding of scheduling, rail operations, and export shipping processes.
  • Hands-on experience with coal, bulk commodities, or heavy industry logistics.
  • Strong analytical skills with advanced proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office.
  • A proactive mindset and ability to build strong relationships across internal teams and external partners.

What We Offer

  • A full-time role with one of the world’s largest metallurgical coal producers.
  • Work from our luxury 6-star, eco-friendly Brisbane CBD office with river views and premium end-of-trip facilities.
  • Join a high-performing logistics and commercial team with global reach.
  • Enjoy flexibility, professional development, wellness initiatives, and corporate benefits.
  • Be part of a business that values innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
