MS Windows Infrastructure Engineers

• Length of contract: 12 months with two 12-month extension options.
• Work location: Canberra, ACT (onsite).
• Security clearance requirements: Must hold NV1 clearance, with willingness to upgrade to TSPV within 12 months.
• Key technical skills: Expertise in Windows server platforms, Active Directory, VMware integration, and security software.
  
  

About The Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-profile project delivering critical ICT capabilities for a major government initiative. As a Senior Microsoft Windows Infrastructure Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and managing infrastructure solutions that support national security objectives.

Your Duties Will Include

• Designing, testing, and deploying new versions of the Windows operating system.
• Developing and operating Windows server platforms, including Active Directory, DNS, PKI, and WSUS.
• Integrating and supporting management and security software configurations.
• Providing server automation and backup/recovery services for virtualised Windows systems.
• Troubleshooting and resolving Windows-related issues.
• Collaborating with technical teams to deliver project solutions in a complex ICT environment.
  
  

Skills And Experience We Are Looking For

• Demonstrated experience in designing, testing, and deploying Windows operating systems.
• Strong understanding of security software associated with Windows platforms.
• Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, complex environment.
• Knowledge of Australian Government information security policies
