The opportunity

Oversee the daily operations ensuring all park procedures and health & safety requirements are met and the appropriate service levels are maintained.

Your Day To Day

  • Collaborate to ensure best business practices, key issues and daily operational needs are met ensuring venue is professionally presented at all times
  • Provide superior guest service both internally & externally, demonstrating strong conflict resolution abilities
  • Work closely with the Assistant Production Manager to execute opening and closing of attractions & tours
  • Co-ordinate all aspects of the Emergency Response Team (ERT) when activated, managing all emergency situations
  • Complete injury, incidents and accident reports and maintenance requests as required
  • Assist with the co-ordination of conference & events as & when required
  • Co-ordinate the Operations department including resource planning, training, mentoring, recruitment, performance management and conducting performance reviews
  • Set service standards and ensure appropriate training of team members
  • Hold an understanding of the industrial instrument that your team members are covered by ensuring compliance with all conditions
  • Monitor technical equipment for any machinery failure and maintenance requirements
  • Provide reports as and when required and within the timeframe
  • Shifts are 3:00pm to 10:30pm weekdays and Saturdays and 9:00am to 3:00pm Sunday.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with experience in leading a team and maximising performance
  • Self organisation, problem solving & time management skills
  • Performance management experience with the ability to delegate
  • Proven ability to work with stakeholders from all business areas
  • Professional and friendly disposition with a high level of guest service
  • Demonstrated discretion with the ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Strong understanding of effective rostering and labour management
