About The Role

We’re hiring two experienced Maintenance Planners to support a major industrial site in Muswellbrook, NSW — one focused on outage planning and the other on routine maintenance. These are long-term DIDO roles with a minimum 12-month engagement, ideal for someone based within a reasonable commute of site.

You’ll be responsible for planning and scheduling maintenance work in SAP for heavy industrial plant and equipment. A mechanical background is preferred, though strong electrical planners will also be considered.

What you’ll do: Key responsibilities…

  • Develop and manage SAP-based maintenance schedules
  • Plan major outage tasks, labour, and material requirements
  • Create job plans and maintain task lists for routine work
  • Liaise with supervisors, trades, and project teams to align timelines
  • Monitor schedule performance and reschedule work as required
  • Contribute to work packs, scopes, and strategy improvements

What we’re looking for: About you…

  • Mechanical or electrical maintenance planning background
  • Proven experience with SAP PM in an industrial environment
  • Strong understanding of outage planning or weekly scheduling
  • Excellent coordination and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Located within DIDO range of Muswellbrook
  • Must have the right to work in Australia
