What's on offer?
An excellent opportunity has presented for a Community & Stakeholder Engagement Officer Administrator to support our Coomera Connector Project based in Helensvale on a permanent, part-time basis. We have flexibility to offer either a 3 or 4 day working week, plus hours that accommodate children school hours.
This project is a joint venture between Fulton Hogan, JF Hull and McIlwain Civil delivering the Coomera Connector Central Motorway from Helensvale Road and Smith Street Motorway. And will instrumental in assisting the Communications and Stakeholder Manager and Senior Communications and Stakeholder Officer with all aspects of the Project's communication and engagement activities, including but not limited to:
- Internal communications, preparation of stories, formatting and distribution of monthly project newsletter including implementation and promotional activities of the projects Social Responsibility Plan.
- Support consultation with project stakeholders, recording stakeholder data, including all stakeholder interactions, to the project's stakeholder database.
- Assist the delivery of communication materials including distribution of E-news and internal site communications and management of regular site photography (aerial, ground and timelapse), accompanying professional photographer, seeking project approvals, naming files and submitting to client each month.
- Attending community events and supporting displays on behalf of the project and management of booking and coordination of site tours and local events, as required.
- Assist with drafting social media posts, creating content and working with photographer/videographer where required.

With relevant practical experience in a similar role, you will demonstrate experience in maintenance activities, with Construction experience seen as advantageous. You will be a strategic thinker, have contractual experience in contract delivery, and be able to recognise how communications fits into the wider contract. You will have an innate ability to harness and nurture internal and external stakeholder relationships, and an ability to work collaboratively within a complex and diverse environment. As a solid performer, with professional acumen and exceptional communication skills, you will be confident in your influencing and negotiating capability.
