What's on offer?


We wish to complement our existing team with an experienced Supervisor Mechanical / Electrical for our Water Projects within our Fulton Hogan Utilities business, focusing on newly awarded Sydney Water project. This role is initially based in Alexandria and transitioning to Fairfield once project begins. This is a fantastic opportunity for you to drive your career further, and gain industry relevant experience, with on-the-job skill development/coaching offered throughout. In this role you'll be responsible for:

  • Leadership of self perform and sub contracted work teams
  • Ensuring compliance to all safety requirements including SWMS, WHS and Safety regulations.
  • Collaboration with multiple project personnel and multiple disciplines including mechanical/ civil/ electrical
  • Conduct Toolbox talks and prestart meetings.
  • Arranging supplies of materials and equipment and verifying delivery.
  • Inspecting daily work to meets plans, quality, and project standards.
  • Identifying issues arising on site and problem solving.
  • Planning, calculating and monitoring daily cost of resources and working to budgets


How you'll connect to the role:

  • Ideally you will have exposure to capital upgrades in Water and/or Wastewater Treatment Facilities
  • Proven commitment to leading safety, quality and environmental compliance on site
  • Strong people management skills, the ability to develop effective teams
  • Experience as an Electrical Supervisor working on M&E and/or civil projects
  • Proven work experience in similar position for a large construction/water utilities project
  • Strong people management skills, the ability to develop effective teams
  • You will have experience taking full OH&S responsibility on site
  • A positive attitude and ability to motivate trades and subcontractors
