As Procurement Director you will be playing a key role for a leading company in the energy sector based in Sydney Australia.
Key Responsibilities:
Procurement Strategy Development: Collaborate in creating and developing procurement strategies aligned with the consortium's objectives and the renewable energy macroproject. Stakeholder Coordination: Work closely with key stakeholders to ensure alignment of procurement strategies.
Supplier Management: Supervise the identification, evaluation, and selection of suppliers, ensuring quality, efficiency, and profitability in all transactions.
Contract Negotiation: Lead contractual negotiations with suppliers and ensure the implementation of agreements that meet legal and commercial requirements.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all local and international regulations and standards related to procurement and contracting.
Risk and Cost Management: Evaluate and mitigate risks associated with procurement while optimizing costs and resources to maximize the consortium's financial efficiency.
Reporting and Documentation: Provide regular reports on the status of acquisitions, contracts, and expenses, ensuring comprehensive and accurate documentation.
Requirements:
Must have: Previous experience in leadership roles in procurement, preferably in the renewable energy sector or large-scale infrastructure projects. Strong negotiation, leadership, and team management skills. Ability to work in a collaborative and multicultural environment. Excellent analytical and decision-making skills.
Nice to have: Deep knowledge of acquisition regulations and practices in Australia.
