Roles And Responsibilities
- The Candidate may need to do a business travel to Warehouse
- Analyze existing warehouse operations and identify areas for improvement.
- Gather requirements from stakeholders like warehouse managers and business process owners.
- Understand how SAP EWM is currently configured and how it aligns with business processes.
- Configure SAP EWM functionalities like inbound and outbound processing, picking, put away, and slotting to meet specific business needs.
- Develop process flows and define warehouse control strategies within the SAP EWM system.
- Identify opportunities to optimize warehouse operations using best practices and functionalities within SAP EWM.
- Create test plans and develop test scripts to ensure the configured functionalities function as intended.
- Work with the testing team to execute test cases and identify any issues.
- Collaborate with technical consultants to resolve configuration errors and system bugs.
- Develop training materials and conduct user training sessions for warehouse personnel on the new or modified SAP EWM processes.
- Provide ongoing support to warehouse personnel after the system goes live.
- Troubleshoot issues related to SAP EWM functionalities and collaborate with technical consultants for resolution.
- Stay updated on the latest functionalities and features within SAP EWM for S/4HANA.
- Document processes, configurations, and solutions for future reference and knowledge transfer.
- Participate in project planning meetings and contribute to project timelines and deliverables.
- Maintain clear communication with all stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
- Stay updated on SAP S/4HANA and EWM best practices
- Provide an improvement to the existing business to reduce the manual effort / Recurring activities.
- Strong consulting and communication skills
- Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements, define solution blueprints, and align technology strategy with operational needs.
- Collaborate with enterprise architects and IT leadership to define SAP roadmaps and transformation strategies.
- Lead governance processes, architecture reviews, and technical quality assurance for SAP solutions.
- Mentor internal technical teams and consultants, providing thought leadership and guidance.
- Problem solver in key issues relating to SAP.
- Preparing Specs, flow charts.
- Expert in providing SAP estimations and Solution approach.
