The Role

Are you a Organisational Change Manager professional looking for a step into the Government Sector? Join this large State Government Department that is focused on providing to the once in a generation reform of the Department.

Overview

Lead and effectively manage the change management activities related to the ICT enabled projects, utilising the ICT OCM Framework. The primary responsibility will be creating and implementing organisational change management and communications strategies and plans that maximize employee adoption and usage and minimize resistance.

Responsibilities

  • This person will focus on the people side of change including changes to business processes, systems and technology, job roles and organisation structures.
  • Apply a structured methodology and lead change management
  • activities to ensure the project changes are embedded smoothly into the business.
  • Identify and engage with project stakeholders to assess the business impacts of the change in the areas of technology, organisational, people and processes.
  • Create change management strategy providing strategic and tactical advice.
  • Lead a small team of resources for the organisational change management training and communication activities required to support the implementation phase of the project if applicable.
  • Have a solid understanding of how people go through a change and the change process.
  • Complete the initial complexity assessment to scope out the level of change required.
  • Support and engage senior leaders by providing coaching and advice when required.
  • Coordinating project and business resources in carrying out the change management activities.
  • Working with the project manager to integrate change management activities in the project plan.
  • Evaluate and ensure user readiness activities in place as part of the implementation package.
