We are seeking applications for a Pastoral Service Manager to join our Mission team at Burwood & Richmond Hospitals, on a permanent part-time basis.
The Pastoral Services Manager will set the strategic direction of Pastoral services within the Hospital/Service and provide leadership and coordination to the team in the provision of holistic Pastoral services to patients and clients.
Our professional pastoral services caregivers are an integral part of the multidisciplinary healthcare team, complementing and contributing to the overall person-centred care provided to patients, residents and their families.
The Position
Successful applicants will hold a tertiary level qualification in a relevant field (such as Social work, Counselling, Pastoral Theology, or Nursing).

The Position
- Lead and manage a team in addition to maintaining caseload duties (as determined at hospital/service level in consultation with GMPS),
- Accountability for financial stewardship of the pastoral budget.
- Responsibility for implementing group strategic direction and workforce planning at a local level.
- Accountability for effective and timely service delivery which meets performance indicators, resource management and compliance regarding quality, safety and best practice.
- Foster a culture of integrity, professionalism, accountability within the Pastoral Services team to maintain the highest standard of Pastoral Practice.
- Ensure ongoing development and succession planning via adequate provision for training new students, Pastoral Interns and Pastoral Practitioners across clinical pastoral practice and leadership domains.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of departmental accountability and reporting protocols.

We can offer you
- Salary: $124,196 to $137,946 (pro-rata for part-time) plus 12% Superannuation
- Permanent part-time, working 30.4 hours per week
