About The Role

We are currently looking for an experienced Electrical Scheduler to join our team at the Mornington Depot. In this role, you will be responsible for assigning the work program to our Planning team, ensuring strong support for maintenance and fault related tasks. A key focus will be managing in-day jeopardies, maximizing resource efficiency, and ensuring the smooth execution of planned activities in the field.

Key Responsibilities Include

  • Planning and Scheduling preventive and corrective maintenance works across Distribution assets
  • Creating Notifications, Work orders and Work Completion Application in SAP
  • Ensure high level maintenance plans are established for the year and rolling works scheduled for the following 6-8 weeks
  • Assist with fault response planning and reschedule incomplete tasks
  • Prioritise critical works and plan them based on resource availability
  • Liaise with internal teams to efficiently plan maintenance works and remove bottlenecks in maintenance activities
  • Liaise with external teams to integrate their schedule into our works program, ensuring no major impact to our maintenance activities

About You

The successful applicant will have extensive experience planning/scheduling work and knowledge of the operational techniques and standards as applied to electrical networks.

  • Understanding of Electrical Assets in Transmission / Distribution Stations
  • Excellent Problem-solving skills and decision making skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team and to work unsupervised
  • Ability to make accurate resolutions
  • Proficient in SAP, Word, Excel, and planning software (highly desirable)
  • Current Australian Drivers Licence
