In this role, you will conduct inspections of subdivision civil engineering works to ensure that all required construction, dust, noise and environmental management plans are in accordance with the relevant state and local regulations. You will ensure that all associated works are constructed in accordance with the approved plans and specifications to ensure the interests of both the Council and the community are protected.
To be successful in this position, you should have a Diploma in Civil Engineering or related field (or demonstrated equivalent competency), along with completion of relevant asphalt and road construction training courses. You will also have experience and knowledge in a road inspection, maintenance or construction environment, along with the ability to read and interpret construction drawings, plans and specifications.

- Diploma in Civil Engineering or related field or demonstrated equivalent experience relevant to land development.
- Comprehensive knowledge of construction materials and techniques specific to the delivery of subdivision infrastructure, including earthworks, roads and drainage.
- Demonstrated experience in supervising subdivision civil works to ensure compliance with approved engineering drawings, technical specifications and statutory requirements.
- Effective communication and negotiation skills, with a proven ability to coordinate and liaise with developers, consultants, contractors and subcontractors
- Opportunity to co-contribute a further 5% superannuation
