Overview Of The Role
Reporting to the Head of Legal for our ANZ business, you would act as a pro-active business partner to ofi’s ANZ businesses. In addition to you responsibility for ofi’s ANZ businesses, you will also have opportunities to work with business units and functions across the APAC region as well as group/central functions and projects usually driven from the UK, Netherlands, US and Singapore. We are looking for candidates who have a broad exposure to diverse areas of law including dispute management, commercial contracting, and employment law. An appetite to work across jurisdictions and cultures would be valued, as well as an ability to manage a diverse spectrum of stakeholders both internal as well as external. This position will require an individual who is able to consistently exercise sound independent judgement related to allocation of risk while also having the ability to suggest legal/business-focused alternatives.

Key Responsibilities
- Business partnering.
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts with vendors, customers, and third parties.
- Advise on legal matters and their implications.
- Handle corporate law, agri-business, ESG, real estate, environmental/health/safety, litigation, and data privacy matters.
- LLB, JD, or equivalent degree with a current Victorian practicing certificate.
- At least 4 years of relevant legal experience.
- Experience in a top-tier private law firm is desired.
- Experience with manufacturing, consumer products or regulated/agriculture industry preferred.
