We are looking for a part-time Sales Coordinator to work closely with our Director of Sales to support in the day to day running of the Sales office and provide professional and timely communication to our existing and potential clients. This is a permanent part-time role (2-3 days per week) offering the award base rate of $28.12 per hour.

Job Description
  • Using your knowledge of rates, packages, and hotel facilities to respond to general enquiries and to conduct site inspections
  • Handling incoming client calls to respond to general enquiries
  • Assisting with research, competitive analysis, and compilation of reports
  • Updating and maintaining the Sales and Marketing database
  • Assist with proposals, drafting documents, mail-outs and outgoing communications
  • Assist in creating content for print, online and digital distribution
  • Administration tasks as required, including maintaining electronic files

Qualifications
  • Previous experience in an administration role with proficiency in Microsoft Office and good keyboard skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High degree of attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
  • Ability to work independently and to prioritise tasks
  • Experience within hotel operations preferred, knowledge of sales and/or marketing in the hospitality industry would be an advantage
  • Availability to work two to three days per week
  • You must have current working rights in Australia - student visa holders are encouraged to apply. We are unable to provide sponsorship for this role.
