The Position

Campus Environment is seeking a Grounds Officer to join our Landscape and Conservation Team. The Grounds Officer role is responsible for the proactive management and maintenance of the Universities horticultural and landscape assets, contributing to the delivery of a safe, accessible, and sustainable environment for the ANU community. This includes monitoring the health and condition of plants, lawns and garden areas and taking action to ensure the highest possible standard of presentation achieved. This position provides the opportunity to be part of a professional landscape maintenance team with strong conservation values, working in a highly regarded and diverse landscape environment.

The Person

We are seeking a skilled, experienced, and motivated landscape maintenance professional to join our diverse team. The role requires an experienced landscape maintenance professional with extensive garden maintenance experience, preferably within a high profile and busy urban environment.

The School/Department

As part of the Operations Portfolio within Campus Environment, the Landscape and Conservation Team effectively maintains, conserves, and develops the ANU campus landscape to deliver an environment that is fit for purpose and characterised by a high standard of presentation.

The College/Division

Campus Environment enables academic excellence at the ANU through integrated and innovative facilities and project delivery. The Operations Portfolio has responsibility to provide exceptional property management and maintenance services to the ANU, which includes the maintenance and development of the Campus Landscape, undertaken by the Landscape and Conservation Team.
