About the role:
As the Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and clients, playing a vital role in creating a welcoming and professional environment. This full-time, in-office role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in maintaining a polished and professional front-of-house experience. Your attention to detail and proactive approach will help ensure the smooth running of our Melbourne office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome and greet all visitors with warmth and professionalism.
- Prepare and maintain meeting rooms, including setup, cleanliness, and food & beverage requirements.
- Ensure the reception area is tidy and presentable at all times.
- Manage bookings for meeting rooms and maintain unused rooms to a high standard.
- Keep kitchens clean and stocked, including daily cleaning of appliances and weekly fridge defrosting.
- Monitor and replenish food, beverage, and office supplies, ensuring stock levels are maintained.
- Handle daily errands such as banking and post office runs, and unpack deliveries.
- Order catering for meetings and maintain stock of client refreshments.
- Answer and transfer calls professionally, and manage phone messages and emails promptly.
- Organise couriers and sort incoming/outgoing mail.
- Assist with various administrative tasks as required.
About you:
You are a confident and well-presented individual who thrives in a professional environment. With a strong eye for detail and a collaborative mindset, you bring energy and reliability to every task. You're adaptable, approachable, and take pride in delivering high-quality service to both clients and colleagues.
You will ideally have:
- 12 months to 2 years of experience in a similar corporate environment role
- Excellent attention to detail
- A positive attitude and ability to work effectively as part of a team
- A willingness to work flexible hours as needed
- A professional presentation and demeanor at all times
Education Requirements:
- Completion of Year 12
