ABOUT THE ROLE
This is an exciting time for Australian Cricket as we embark on an AMS transformation project to equip our High-Performance teams with the tools to drive world-class insights and standards for performance and health data.
The Project Manager, AMS, is a new 2-year fixed-term role within our talented and passionate Strategy and Data team. As a Project Manager, AMS, your key responsibility will be to lead the transition, implementation, and adoption of a new Athlete Management System and supporting systems for Australian Cricket.

We have big ambitions to enhance our competitive advantage in health and performance data analytics, so we're looking for someone with drive, passion, and energy to bring our AMS transition and HP technology roadmap to life.
Reporting to the Platform Manager, High Performance you'll be responsible for:
- Leading the AMS replacement project from initiation to completion, collaborating with Australian Cricket stakeholders, vendors, and external partners to ensure project milestones are met.
- Assisting in gathering and documenting business requirements, identifying areas for improvement and automation.
- Supporting the configuration, data migration, testing, validation, and deployment of the new AMS (Teamworks Performance Products).
- Providing training and ongoing support for end-users to ensure smooth adoption of the new system.
- Communicating with a range of high-performance professionals to develop, evaluate, and improve data processors and analysis methods.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Several years of experience working in high-performance sport, engaging with or managing technology projects
- Tertiary qualifications (bachelor's or master's degree) in Sports Science, Analytics, IT, or related discipline degree
- Experience with Athlete Management Systems and/or Performance Data Technologies
- Proven experience in project management with the ability to balance multiple priorities and adapt to rapidly changing situations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable with presenting to large audiences and collaborating with executive leadership
- Ability to develop strong stakeholder relationships and handle challenging conversations
