We are looking for a proactive and collaborative Procurement Specialist to play a key role in driving EnergyAustralia’s procurement initiatives. In this role, you’ll partner closely with procurement and business stakeholders to plan ahead, identify sourcing needs, and deliver value-for-money outcomes that support our strategic goals.
About the Role (12 Month FTC with potential for permanent)
As a Procurement Specialist you will take ownership of tendering and market engagement processes, lead contracting activities, and contribute to analysis and reporting that informs smarter procurement decisions. - Support the Procurement team with sourcing, contracting and Supplier Lifecycle Value processes, providing appropriate procurement and administration support.
- Support Pipeline Planning and Savings Tracking for the Procurement Team
- Deliver insight in internal spend and market intelligence through data analysis and reporting
- Support good governance through understanding and applying Legal, OHS, Ethical, Sustainable and Commercial requirements
- Focus on continued improvement in the efficiency and effectiveness of Procurement processes.
- Ability to develop effective relationships
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and time manage effectively; able to adapt to changing priorities/workload quickly and enthusiastically
- Clear and confident communications both written and verbal
- Strong Excel and analytical skills
- Creative problem-solving capabilities; and
- High level of attention to detail
- S4Hana/Ariba/Fieldglass experience (preferred but not mandatory)
- Experience in sourcing
