What's the role on offer?
Due to an internal promotion, we are looking for an Inventory and Asset Officer to join our Finance Team and play a key role in supporting the Alliance Airlines fleet through smart inventory control and asset management. You'll drive efficiency and cost savings by implementing best practices in logistics, coordinating stocktakes, forecasting inventory needs, and managing part-out materials—ensuring our operations run smoothly and effectively.
As our Inventory & Assets Officer you'll be working closely with teams across Engineering, Procurement, CAMO, and Stores, you’ll help drive cost-effective, operationally efficient outcomes while maintaining strong safety and compliance standards.
Our ideal candidate brings a solid foundation in supply chain, finance, or aviation, with hands-on experience in inventory and stock management. You’re tech-savvy with Excel, financially astute, and thrive in a fast-paced environment where accuracy, communication, and collaboration are key. You’ll be someone who takes initiative, stays flexible, and is driven by efficiency, teamwork, and service excellence.

- Lead the coordination of national stocktakes and contribute to accurate forecasting and usage modelling.
- Support strategic inventory planning, including reviewing stock for obsolescence and fleet relevance.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and material sales to enhance financial outcomes.
- Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and stores teams to ensure accurate inventory transactions.
- Produce clear reports and insights for stakeholders while continuously improving inventory practices.
- Champion safety, compliance, and continuous improvement in line with aviation and WHS standards.

- Knowledge of supply chain and warehousing processes, with experience in finance, inventory, and reporting systems.
- Strong financial understanding, including accrual accounting and asset/inventory tracking.
- Skilled in Microsoft Excel (intermediate level) and confident managing large data sets and reports.
- Excellent communicator who can prioritise, plan, and maintain accuracy in a deadline-driven environment.
- Flexible and proactive team player with a commitment to safety, quality, and Alliance values.
- Experience liaising with internal stakeholders and managing relationships with suppliers and customers.
