Responsibilities
- Undertake Electrical Design Activities related to Ship Concept, Principle and Detailed Design in the following areas:
- Power Generation;
- Power Distribution;
- Lighting;
- Electric Propulsion;
- Degaussing;
- Control & Monitoring.
- Integration of systems and equipment into the Platform
- Review and perform analysis where required to support design decisions.
- Perform engineering investigations and develop documentation such as reports and specifications.
- Liaise with clients and specialist subcontractors in the above areas where required
- Interface with other disciplines for the delivery of technical services & more.
- Professional Engineer with minimum tertiary qualifications in Electrical Engineering and professional development sufficient to attain recognition as Chartered Professional Engineer with IEAUST. Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in management of design within a quality framework, specifically acting in a senior engineering role.
