- Length of contract: 11 months with potential extension options.

- Security clearance: Negative Vetting Level 1.
- Key technical skills: Proficiency in DevSecOps, cloud-native technologies, infrastructure as code (IaC), and software prototyping.

You will play a key role in shaping the future of software and platform engineering within a highly secure and collaborative environment.
Your Duties Will Include
- Leading and contributing to platform deployments and software prototyping activities.
- Developing deployable platforms that enable DevSecOps, ModelOps, and Data Platforms.
- Designing and implementing cloud-native solutions, including containerisation and microservices.
- Creating and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks.
- Collaborating with stakeholders to ensure alignment with security frameworks and accreditation requirements.
- Providing technical expertise in the development of analytic dashboards and machine learning solutions.
- Demonstrated experience in DevSecOps processes, agile methodologies, and CI/CD practices.
- Proficiency in Java and/or Python for microservices and web-based application development.
- Strong knowledge of infrastructure as code (IaC) and cloud/on-premise automation.
- Familiarity with Defence Information Environment and security frameworks (e.g., PSPF, ISM).
- Experience with container orchestration platforms and modern software development tools.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present technical concepts effectively.
