About the Client
Our client is a reputable organisation in charge of maintaining peace and order within society. With many digital transformation projects and large-scale solutions, our client is on the lookout for an SAP Project Manager for current projects.
About the role:
The Project Manager - SAP is responsible for overseeing the transition from SAP ECC6 to SAP S/4HANA operating on protected hyperscale cloud and transform the Finance and HR functions.
Their prime responsibility is to ensure that the project delivers the required products and services within the specified tolerances of time, cost, quality, scope, risk, and benefits. They will also be responsible for ensuring that the project produces a result capable of achieving the benefits as defined in the Business Case and in conjunction with the Program Director. This position reports directly to the ERP Portfolio Program Director with functional reporting to the PMO.
To be considered for this position you will need:
- Demonstrated experience in delivery project management of SAP ECC to S/4HANA migration in a large-scale corporate environment.
- Demonstrated experience with SAP ECC Payroll solution, including implementation and support, and ideally with experience migration from ECC Payroll to S/4HANA Payroll solution (H4S4 - Core Human Capital Management for S/4HANA).
- Demonstrated experience driving technical migration from ECC6 to S/4HANA, including managing the reduction and remediation of existing customization carried to the new S/4HANA system.
- Certified in project management best practice methodologies, with demonstrated skills and experience in using contemporary project management methodologies to deliver best practice, client-driven ICT projects. SAP certifications relevant to SAP ECC to S/4HANA migration
The Successful Candidate:
Applicants must be an Australian or New Zealand citizen or Permanent Resident to apply
- Drive the delivery and implementation of the project’s products (including production of all relevant documentation for product delivery and acceptance during the project life cycle and ongoing support) that meet the project’s objectives and customer’s acceptance criteria.
- Analyse complex issues, assess risks and opportunities, and make informed decisions to address project/program challenges. Negotiate issues and solutions across the organisation to meet objectives within resource and time constraints.
- Understand, evaluate, and implement technology solutions and tools as they relate to the SAP Upgrade project or more broadly the ERP Portfolio program.
- Ensure business requirements from various business units are captured and approved aligned with business initiatives, business priorities and operational challenges.
- Ensure that customer needs, expectations and satisfaction are proactively managed including compliance with client specifications and quality assurance standards.
- Provide leadership at a team and senior level and build strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, foster trust, and maintain transparent communication.
- Ensure appropriate delivery framework / methodology is adopted by the project.
- Ensure that the project is managed and delivered to a professional standard and in accordance with policies, standards, and procedures (both business and technical including information security).
- Monitor and manage external vendors as outlined within signed contracts and internal teams and streams. This includes assisting the procurement process, analysis, project tracking, relationship management, deliverables monitoring, contract and budget management and reporting. Internal teams and streams include organisation change management and architecture.
- Identify synergies, and improvement opportunities in the ways of working to ensure project is delivered in the most cost-effective way.

Located in Parramatta & Sydney Olympic Park, this role offers a hybrid working arrangement.
