As a Member Services Officer, you will be the first point of contact for our members, employers, and key stakeholders, playing a vital role in delivering exceptional service experiences. Your contribution will directly reflect the fund’s values and brand promise by ensuring every interaction is professional, informative, and supportive. Whether you're guiding members through educational opportunities, handling transactions, or assisting with superannuation insurance claims alongside the Claims Team, your work will help build trust and confidence in the services we provide. This role is essential in shaping positive member journeys and strengthening long-term relationships.

The opportunity

As a Member Services Officer, you’ll provide exceptional service by assisting members with enquiries across a broad range of superannuation topics, including fund operations, benefit eligibility, entitlements, taxation, and self-service options. You’ll offer factual and general advice, identify opportunities to promote relevant products and services, and deliver face-to-face support in our ServicePlus Centre. You’ll also develop specialist knowledge to support both members and colleagues, contribute to team and company-wide initiatives, and help achieve service, quality, and lead generation targets. Staying up to date with legislation and internal policies, you’ll manage end-to-end claims servicing with a focus on building positive relationships. This role is key to empowering members and supporting strategic goals through informed, empathetic service.

About You

  • Previous experience in a customer focused environment;
  • A proactive service focus with the ability to build and manage relationship.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral;
  • High level of knowledge of superannuation and life insurance products.
  • RG146 certification or be able to successfully achieve competency within twelve (12) months of commencement.
  • Tertiary qualifications in a related discipline are desirable but not mandatory.
  • AIA qualifications or other insurance-related qualifications will be well regarded.
