JOB DESCRIPTION:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced People Experience (PX) Generalist to join our rapidly growing team. Based in Melbourne, Australia, this role will be instrumental in supporting our diverse workforce across the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth global environment and possess a strong understanding of HR practices within Australia and various Asian markets.
What you'll do:
- Employee Relations & Support: Provide comprehensive HR support and guidance to employees and managers across the APAC region, addressing queries, resolving conflicts, and fostering a positive work environment.
- HR Operations & Administration: Manage various HR administrative processes, including onboarding and offboarding, HRIS data management, leave administration, and policy implementation for APAC.
- Talent Acquisition Support: Collaborate with the global talent acquisition team to support recruitment efforts in the APAC region, including assisting with job descriptions, interview coordination, and onboarding new hires.
- Compensation & Benefits: Assist with the administration of compensation and benefits programs, ensuring compliance with local regulations and company policies across APAC.
- Performance Management: Support the implementation and ongoing management of performance review processes, providing guidance to managers and employees.
- Policy & Compliance: Ensure all HR policies and procedures are compliant with local labor laws and regulations across Australia and other relevant APAC countries. Research and stay up-to-date on changes in employment legislation.
- HR Project Work: Participate in and lead various HR projects and initiatives aimed at improving HR processes, employee engagement, and overall HR effectiveness within the APAC region.
- Regional Collaboration: Work closely with global HR teams and local stakeholders to ensure consistent HR practices and alignment with company-wide strategies.
- Other duties as assigned
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive HR Generalist experience, with a significant portion in a fast-paced, high-growth organization.
- Demonstrated experience supporting employees across Australia and at least two other distinct Asian countries (e.g., Singapore, India, Japan, China, etc.).
- Solid understanding of Australian employment law and HR best practices.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- You have a demonstrated record of working hard, being a trustworthy teammate, holding yourself and others to high standards, and being kind to others
- Experience working for a global company with a distributed workforce.
- Experience with UKG Pro, Costpoint
