We are seeking a passionate HR professional to join our Melbourne office on a permanent, full-time basis.
Key responsibilities:
- Partner with select business groups to plan and deliver initiatives that align to our people strategy.
- Collaborate with HR Operations and Centres of Expertise to proactively support all aspects of the employee life cycle.
- Run cyclical HR processes for your business groups.
- Proactively manage all ER and WHS issues promptly and professionally in line with the firm's values and relevant legislative requirements, whilst minimising psychosocial hazards.
- Coach and support stakeholders to build sustainable high performing teams through talent management and development initiatives to engage and retain our people.
- Work closely with our resource management colleagues to support stakeholders to optimise resource allocation and facilitate mobility.
- Advise on and participate in the recruitment process, including seeking approval, interviewing and onboarding new employees to the firm.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Demonstrable experience as a generalist HR professional, ideally in a legal or professional services environment.
- Tertiary qualifications in HR or a related discipline.
- Well developed influencing skills and the confidence to manage senior stakeholders.
- ER exposure and depth of experience with complex performance management.
- A commercial approach, and ability to navigate ambiguity and adapt to change.
- Excellent time management and prioritisation skills.
- A collaborative approach, working to support others and share expertise.
