Senior Draftsperson

Our client specialises in high quality custom residential joinery and is currently seeking a full-time experienced Draftsperson to join our team working out of our factory in Glendenning. The successful candidate will have least 3 years Cabinet Vision drawing experience and a strong knowledge joinery manufacturing. The candidate should have experience from pre design through to production and client interactions as well.

Responsibilities/ Job Criteria

• Reading of architectural plans, drawings and schedules of finishes
• Experience in Cabinet Vision (preferably within a joinery business)
• Reviewing shop drawings and adjusting for revision
• Production of shop drawings for sending to manufacture
• Understanding of joinery materials, hardware and specifications and hardware
• Communication with internal and external parties on the shop drawing status, review and approval
