Cloud Engineer

Launch Recruitment have partnered with a leading Australian consultancy known for delivering impactful solutions in the data and AI space and are seeking experienced Cloud Engineers to join a high-performing team in a permanent role here in Melbourne.

Whether your background is in AWS, GCP, or Azure, this role offers the opportunity to work across a variety of cloud environments, contribute to innovative client projects, and grow your skills within a dynamic and supportive team.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Design, build and manage cloud foundational services (VPC, IAM, Compute, GKE, VNets, etc.)
• Implement and maintain secure, scalable, and reliable cloud infrastructure
• Drive cloud security best practices and governance controls
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using tools like Terraform
• Collaborate with internal teams and clients to deliver high-value outcomes
  
  

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years of experience as a Cloud Engineer
• Strong experience in at least one major cloud platform: AWS, GCP, or Azure
• Solid understanding of cloud networking and security concepts
• Proven experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform)
• A team-first mindset with strong collaboration and communication skills
• Ability to translate technical solutions into business value for clients
• Passion for continual improvement – of systems, processes, and people
• Full Australian working rights are essential (citizenship or PR required)
