Based from Milton, this is your opportunity to join our Apprentice Connect Provider division and work with Australia’s largest single provider. The Workplace Support Consultant (WSC) is an important and diverse support role providing quality advice and support to Employers, Apprentices and Trainees (Progress Contacts), as well as assisting the parties with eliminating potential barriers which may impact completion of their program.

The Workplace Support Consultant (WSC) is an important and diverse support role providing quality advice and support to Employers, Apprentices and Trainees (Progress Contacts), as well as assisting the parties with eliminating potential barriers which may impact completion of their program.
This Will Include Activities Such As
- Exceptional customer service via telephone and electronically to support employer, apprentice, trainee, and stakeholder requests related to the retention and completion of a Training Contract.
- Support customer enquiries, with relevant or requested advice or information to best support and service the customer.
- Perform and complete assigned field progress contacts weekly and monthly with Australian Apprentices and employers and maintain accurate records.
- Apply high standards of customer centricity and effective time management skills to maximise productivity.
- Provide proactive, prompt, efficient and quality information to external customers regarding the Australian Apprenticeship program.
- Contribute to, and support, business development and account management activities.
- Undertake continuous professional development activities by engaging with the MEGT Performance Development Program (PDP).
About You
You will be an ambitious, adaptable, and personable self-starter with a passion for customer service and drive to have a positive impact within the community including:
- Capability to work, often autonomously, acting with trust and integrity to promote positive collaboration and open discussions.
- Proven ability to self-motivate, manage work priorities, meet KPIs and deadlines efficiently.
- Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement and receptiveness to change.
- Excellent customer service skills, demonstrating a mature, professional approach with a passion for increasing customer satisfaction, driving continuous improvement, and learning.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- An excellent phone manner for telephone discussion and scheduling appointments.
- Ability to pragmatically prioritise and manage “field” and “administration” time effectively to successfully achieve results.
- Accurate and efficient data entry skills with high attention to detail and contractual compliance.
- Experience in providing an elevated level of customer service.
- High level of computer literacy across a range of devices and programs.
- Current driver license and ability to travel
