About the role
Our passionate, results focused IT team work collaboratively to deliver commercial and practical IT solutions to our internal clients. As the IT Service Desk Officer, you will engage and collaborate with various internal and external stakeholders (including service providers, vendors, and offshore team members) to deliver a successful and professional service outcome.
Key Responsibilities
As a crucial member of our high-performing IT team at SW Australia, the IT Service Desk Officer is responsible for the following:
- Timely delivery of technical and application service and support resolution to staff, in line with the agreed service level commitment.
- Liaise with software vendors to provide end user support across line of business applications
- Support and management of:
- Microsoft Office 365 and Azure AD/IaaS
- Microsoft Windows Clients OS life-cycle management
- Device life-cycle management/refresh
- Provide hardware and networking troubleshooting and support
Key Skills and Experience
- Tertiary qualification and/or certification in IT or a related discipline, or previous experience in a similar IT service desk position
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Good communication, interpersonal and customer service skills with the capability to interact with a wide range of stakeholders
- Strong analytical, problem solving and resolution skills
- Experience with Microsoft Office products, Teams and Azure
- Experience with ticketing systems
- Sound trouble shooting skills
- Good time management skills and ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines
