What You’ll Do
This role is a contracted 12-month, full-time position. You will be based onsite at the Hollywood Private Hospital in Nedlands, with onsite paid parking.
Unlike community pharmacy, where the focus is often on volume and retail, Hospital Pharmacy offers a dynamic, fast-paced environment where precision and collaboration are key, and your decisions will have a direct impact on the treatment outcomes of patients.
Responsibilities
You are an experienced Pharmacist who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative clinical environment and brings a high level of professionalism, attention to detail, and a patient-centred mindset. In this specialised setting, high-pressure situations are not uncommon, so strong communication skills and the ability to prioritise effectively are essential.

Icon Group supports Slade and Epic pharmacies specialising in hospital and oncology pharmacy services. This includes regional and metropolitan sites in both public and private hospitals that range from 31 to 900 beds.
The national pharmacy network offers partner hospitals best-practice medication supply and clinical pharmacy services, combined with extensive experience and knowledge of pharmacy governance and quality management practices.

What You’ll Do

Responsibilities
- Conduct medication chart reviews and medication reconciliation.
- Dispense and supply medication and pharmacy products.
- Coordinate patient medication requirements for inpatient stay, day infusions and discharge.
- Develop and maintain professional relationships with key stakeholders to ensure excellent customer service to clients and patients.
- Support patients, carers, hospital staff and associated employees.
- Educate and advise staff and customers on health promotion, disease prevention, drug selection and the proper use of medicines.

Essential Requirements
- General pharmacist registration with AHPRA, with no restrictions on practice.
- Minimum 2 years’ Pharmacist experience in Australia.
- Australian working rights, valid for the duration of the contract.
- Ability to commit to full-time employment, for the duration of the contract.
- Prior experience in Hospital Pharmacy
