Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain .NET applications and services.
  • Write clean, scalable, and efficient code in C# or VB.NET.
  • Collaborate with team members to design software solutions and troubleshoot technical issues.
  • Participate in the full software development lifecycle (SDLC), including analysis, design, coding, testing, and deployment.
  • Perform unit testing and code reviews to ensure code quality and performance standards.
  • Integrate third-party libraries and APIs into applications.
  • Optimize application performance and troubleshoot issues in a timely manner.
  • Create and maintain documentation related to development processes and solutions.
  • Keep up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure that the software remains current and scalable.

Key Qualifications

  • Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in developing complex project solutions using C# .NET, .NET Core, ASP.Net, Xunit, Nunit and MSTest.
  • Must have a minimum of 3 years SQL Server development experience, including working with Azure SQL database, performance analysis, tuning and troubleshooting.
  • Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in front-end web development using Angular 14 and above, HTML 5, CSS3 and TypeScript.
  • Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience developing solutions using Azure PaaS and SaaS, and a good understanding of Azure Functions, ServiceBus, Blob, KeyVault and WebAPI.
  • Must have experience in developing REST APIs, Azure Functions and Microservices.
  • Must have experience in designing and implementing DevOps frameworks and automated build and release pipelines.
  • Must have experience in Azure DevOps / Visual Studio.
  • Must have experience developing .NET solutions using S.O.L.I.D design principles.
  • Must have experience creating unit tests using appropriate backend and frontend frameworks (MS Test, VS Unit Test Framework, Jasmine, etc.).
  • Must have experience working as part of a Scrum Agile team.
  • Prior knowledge of working with government departments is desirable.
  • Knowledge of government department .NET implementation frameworks, for instance, the Department of Health DSP (digital solution platform) framework, is desired.
  • Prior experience with MyHealthRecord, unique identification of clients and interoperability standards within the health sector, and/or prior knowledge of working with government departments is highly desirable.
  • Prior experience with appointment and calendar management desirable.
