We are seeking an experienced Brand & Marketing Campaign Lead to join our Marketing team on a 12-month fixed-term contract.


About The Role

As the Brand & Marketing Campaign Lead, you will be part of a supportive team working on the Bunnings Trade brand. You will plan and execute a yearly schedule of engaging marketing campaigns across Australia and New Zealand to connect with our large customer base. Your responsibilities include leading a small team to develop insight-driven agency briefs, creating multi-channel marketing plans for key campaigns, and implementing marketing activities that support business growth. You will also act as a brand guardian, ensuring the correct application of the Bunnings Trade brand and guiding others on brand guidelines and compliance.


This position involves writing detailed advertising briefs, leading agency sessions and managing cross-functional teams to deliver scheduled marketing activities within tight deadlines. You will also assist the broader team with various marketing execution tasks.


You Will Additionally

  • Use consumer insights to develop marketing campaign briefs with measurable objectives tailored to the trade audience
  • Collaborate with strategy and category marketing teams to manage the annual calendar of marketing communications, campaigns, and events to drive trade audience growth and retention
  • Develop and refine go-to-market plans to increase transactions and customer engagement
  • Work with media and digital marketing teams to design effective channel strategies for maximum reach
  • Partner with the content team to deliver content strategies that engage and connect with the trade audience
  • Promote personalization strategies through programmatic channels, eDM programs, and digital-first marketing tactics
  • Lead, guide and support your team in problem-solving, asset delivery, and approvals; set goals, coach on campaign management, recognize achievements and provide ongoing feedback
  • Work collaboratively across marketing functions, leading agile sessions to generate and advance campaign ideas


About You

You are a driven marketer with a strong focus on results, strategy, collaboration, stakeholder management and communication. You keep the customer at the center of your work, excel in project and campaign management and are known for your organizational skills, time management, problem-solving and innovative thinking.


You Also Bring

  • Experience managing a small team or leading major end-to-end projects
  • At least 5 years of marketing experience
  • Strong knowledge of ATL and BTL marketing channels
  • Solid understanding of media and content briefing and planning
  • Good grasp of advertising legal and compliance requirements
  • Strong campaign development skills and the ability to independently manage campaigns for greater efficiency
  • Ability to interpret customer insights and ad testing metrics
  • Skill in applying consumer insights and research to guide campaigns
