Century Entertainment are the producers of the Sydney Comedy Festival, Perth Comedy Festival, Sydney Comedy Store and book and operate multiple theatres & Comedy Clubs around Sydney.
We are seeking a highly energised professional to join our events team to identify, book & deliver a range of events & artists across multiple venues, comedy clubs & festivals in Sydney & surrounds, with a focus on our comedy showcases at the Sydney Comedy Store, Sydney Comedy Festival and other comedy events.
As an integral member of the Century Entertainment team, the bookings co-ordinator will contribute to the planning and execution of multiple events throughout the year including, but not limited to; assisting in booking line-ups for our various comedy showcases, identifying shows & events to book in our comedy spaces and work across the Sydney Comedy Festival in assisting with booking, delivery and event management of various special events & showcases.
The Bookings Co-ordinator will be working within our producing team and be required to work across the key areas of event establishment, marketing, delivery and settlement.

Experience Across The Following Areas Is Essential
- At least 1 year working in live events or similar role
- Knowledge of the Australian comedy scene
- A knowledge & understanding of event ticketing
- Experience in event marketing, including sound knowledge of online and social marketing
- A basic understanding of staging, technical requirements of performance, including sound and lighting requirements
- A strong work ethic
- Attention to detail
- The ability to follow processes, multi-task and manage large volumes of work.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong computer literacy
- Full Australian drivers licence is highly desirable
