Purpose of the Role
- Lead and develop a team of hygiene operatives, ensuring effective performance and adherence to hygiene standards.
- Lead initiatives to enhance cleaning efficiency, reduce downtime, and minimise costs.
- Ensure compliance in alignment with food safety regulations (e.g., HACCP, GMP).
- Coordinate with our production and maintenance departments to integrate cleaning activities.
- Complete routine inspections to ensure compliance with workplace cleanliness standards.
- Prioritise workplace safety and ensuring adherence to health and safety protocols
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience as a team leader in FMCG - required
- Experience cleaning in FMCG - required 1 year experience.
- Committed to continuous improvement - identifying and implementing processes.
- Communication and interpersonal skills
- Physically fit, some heavy lifting at times.
