Research Officer

Classification: ANU Officer 5/6 (Research)
Salary package: $83,351 - $97,929 per annum plus 17% superannuation (pro-rata)
Term: Part-time (28 hours per week), Continuing (contingent funded)

This position is continuing (contingent funded). The funding that supports this project has an expected end date of 31 July 2027.

Position overview

The successful applicant will join a dynamic community of researchers from different disciplines united by a shared interest in regulation and governance. The Research Officer works as part of the research team, liaising with a wide range of stakeholders and assisting with the design and implementation of project related activities.

Our Ideal Candidate

The idea candidate will have a degree or demonstrated relevant experience in a research or support role in the areas of the social aspects of large-scale resource extraction (ideally including deep seabed mining) and/or energy transitions, as well as familiarity with qualitative research methodologies.
